Use the Uppity Firefox extension to easily navigate up one level (directory). It will remove an in-page anchor, the querystring, the file and the last directory in that order, whichever is first found.

Mini Map Sidebar will give you a suite of in-built maps and mapping tools for your web browser. Create and save a sidebar map using the addresses or address links you find on web pages (highlight then drag and drop), or by manually adding locations. There are so many instances where you had to upload files from your local computer to a website. The standard upload mechanism in any website has many limitations like:

??­ They don't show any information like upload progress i.e how much was already uploaded and how much is still remaining.
